I am currently seeking full-time, part-time and contract work. I encourage you to download my full resume here.
My name is Joseph Ellis and I grew up in Martins Ferry, Ohio, attending MFHS.
I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Religion with a Math minor from Muskingum College in May 2007. While at Muskingum I was an editor for the Black & Magenta, Muskingum's award winning weekly student-run newspaper. I was Op/Ed editor there for two years, and wrote a weekly commentary infamously known on and off campus as Joepinion.
While at Muskingum I was also very involved with our campus' chapter of Campus Crusade for Christ, and helped lead the spiritual movement on campus, including speaking, planning meetings, leading bands, selecting and training leaders, leading Bible studies, discipling men, casting vision and helping the organization move forward.
After I graduated I interned for a year in Columbus with the Campus Crusade for Christ Central Ohio Team, raising $31,000, working on the team website, managing six campuses, providing resources to student leaders, planning and executing a large weekend retreat, driving all over Ohio and building into student leaders.
My internship recently ended and I am in a place of transition, starting a new life with my wife Jessica, moving into a new apartment in Clintonville (of Columbus, Ohio), and figuring out what's next for me. I have spent time applying for jobs, blogging and doing freelance math textbook work.
Please check out the resume link above and let me know how I can be of service to you!
